electrical nightmare

ok guys i am really lost here. i replace the ip in my 6.2 and when i was bleeding it out i burned up the starter.(was dying anyway). replaced that was cranking again then it stoped. so replace the key switch and was good to go for about 15 seconds when it stoped again. thought i burned the link change that and was good then stoped again forgot the ground for cab to motor. change link and still nothing. is there a fuse or something? anything that i have missed?

Whre to start?
1. Bad battery cables - you need both batteries to crank a 6.2, I've actually melted the post out of RH battery when the joint got hotter than the lead would take, because the current flowing thru that connector.
2. When you did the starter did you put a new solenoid on?
3. Check for voltage at the starter. Then hook you meter to the solenoid wire from the key. When you turn the key you should see 12 V at the start wire - if not, switch or wire. If so, if the solenoid clicks, cables or starter fail. If no click, most lilely cables.
