75-76 grille brackets

I found a grille for my 76 GMC but have yet to find the brackets to mount it properly. I've been searching for pics of the brackets for it. Does anyone have a pic of the 75-76 grille mounting brackets on the truck? They seem to be a holy grail of sorts. I thought they would be the same as the 73-74 but the mounting points are different. Can anyone help with a pic for me?

Holy grail you say? I happen to have a 75 that I will swap a 74 grille on. Maybe I can get a pic tomorrow night.

Re: 75-76 grille brackets

They do seem to be hard to find. I have a 76 GMC grill and I haven't been able to find brackets.

I'm trying to get to original, managed to find the grille but the brackets are elusive. I've got 74 brackets and 77 up brackets but the 75-76 I havent even been able to find a picture of them.

I don't have the 74 grille, only the brackets

First pic shows the depth of the grille and the second shows the mounting points on the raised section of the core support. The bracket would mount to the right of the mounting holes. The 75-6 grille did not use the tabs that mount underneath the headlights.

Man a while back there was a 76 that me and a buddy pulled the grill off of. We were gonna go back and get the brackets but someone took the core support

I was hoping that the ones you sent me would work but the vertical measurements between mounting points were about 1 1/2 inches off. Now I have 73-4 brackets and 77-8 brackets and just no way to modify them to make them work. Thats why I was hoping to get some pics of the right brackets so I can see how they mount. With the right pics I might be able to fab something close.

Re: 75-76 grille brackets

I have the correct center bracket. Can you post a pic of the side brackets for me?
