Re: Fuel line diagram?

Mine's got a piece of rubber line coming off of the barb coming out of the floor (it's a good idea to use rubber there due to the frame flexing), that runs into a hard line inside the frame that runs to the pump, another hard line (with fuel filter) running to the carb.

Oh and try not to use rubber line when not necessary, and please do not under any circumstances use the plastic or glass filters. I've heard and seen a lot of them that break, burning the vehicle to the ground.

Re: Fuel line diagram?

Right before the pump is there a section of rubber? That's what is on my pump small section of rubber running into hard line that runs along the frame under the cab. Just can't see under the cab myself to see what goes on from there

Re: Fuel line diagram?

Awesome. What would you say the total ft of rubber hose is?

Also How is your vent ran. Or is the second line from the tank through the floor a return line? Sorry for the lack of knowledge on this

Re: Fuel line diagram?

I have a '72 1 ton BB. Neoprene rubber from floor under the cab, to the hardline which then runs along the frame to another neoprene section which connects to the pump. One piece hardline from pump to carb connected to the in carb filter. Less than 18" total neoprene. The rubber allows for cab as well as engine movement.

Looks like your first Q was answered, I was going to say 2 ft.

As far as the vent goes, I can't help you, as mine is a 3/4 ton and 3/4's didn't get the EEC.

Re: Fuel line diagram?

That's what I was just researching and have found 3/4 tons had no vent line so... I'm guessing a return line?
