1991 700R4 dust cover bolts
Does any one know the bolt size for the bolts that hold the torque converter cover on please?
Thanks, Vince

Re: 1991 700R4 dust cover bolts
Good thinking on the retap. I should have done the same but somehow I break taps and didn't want to deal with fishing another one out. The 6mm x 1mm (pitch) x 12mm long worked fine. The problem for me is the one that was sold to me looks like the wrong one. The bottom 2 bolt holes bump into the pan. Were there any changes between years of 700s? I have included a pic.

Re: 1991 700R4 dust cover bolts
hmm, looks to be the same cover as mine. if I remember right, the cover was awful close to the pan, I think it fit tho. maybe try a die grinder to give you clearance. my pan was ordered for a th350 (as a Christmas gift) otta lmc's magazine, but it bolted right to my 700r4
