I am speechless.. wow! How long time did it take? How did you mount the bucket seats? What reinforcements did you do to the floor? |

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. This project took approx. 3 1/2 yrs to complete. I was only able to work on it in the winter when I am laid off.
It was a lot of fun and a ton of work as most of you know. I would like to do another project specifically, an 86 -91 crewcab v30 pickup. This would also be a cummins swap w/ Allison 1000 trans. This would not be built to plow but a daily driver. If I had to do it again I would try to find a rust free truck to start, because it would save so much time.

Thanks again for all the kind words. The seat install was a project in itself. I had to remove most of the tracks on the new seat and then build a frame out of angle iron to mount the entire seat . basically a rectangle w/ bracing to mount the seat and center console. then I bolted the original tracks from the factory bench seat to the seat frame. The seat slides manually back and forth. It works ok, but it sits a little higher than it should b/c of this. I didn't want to cut the floor pans so I had to compromise a little headroom. I'm 6'2" and I have enough room.

Thank you all for the compliments. the cummins swap was not too difficult. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I just need to finish up some odds & ends then I can start driving it. I've only run it around the neighborhood to shake it down, I want to check everything thoroughly before it goes down the highway.

Awesome build! I just spent 2 hours shoveling and a plow sounds like a GREAT idea at the moment. That thing looks ready to work! Love the stance with the new springs.

Need Opinions !
I have a LUND visor all painted and ready to be put on. I'm undecided if I should put it on or not. I've had them on other chevy's in the past, I just don't know if I want it on this truck.
