Lowering springs vs. Cut coils????

Which is better and how much of a drop is cutting one coil from a stock spring?

I would say cut your coils first... See how you like the drop & ride before you drop cash on lowered springs. Cutting (1) full coil equals approx. a 2" drop in ride height after the springs settle. Many of your static drop trucks in the 4-5" drop range are running dropped spindles and cut coils. It really all depends on how much drop you're wanting to achieve. Chances are you'll want it lower than you originally thought. Good Luck!
