68 Rear Leaf Spring Bushings

My 68 GMCs Rear leaf spring bushings are shot and need replacement.

I've ordered from two different suppliers and what arrives has been too Big Diameter or too long. Would like to do Ureathane, anyone know a Manufacturer, Correct Part # (Energy Suspension, Prothane)?

Anybody have a source, product, part numbers? I'm so tired of all the fools arguing with me saying; "Those trucks didn't have Leaf Springs, they only came with trailing arms and coil springs".

Thanks in advance for your knowledge and help - Lee

Re: 68 Rear Leaf Spring Bushings

Are you looking for the bushing in the shackle or the spring eye? 4WD or 2WD? I got my 4X4 bushings from LMC. The shackle bushing part number is 34-0118. The spring eye bushing number is 34-1374. Hope this helps.

Re: 68 Rear Leaf Spring Bushings

Thanks Skinny, I'll just buy those shackles there too, it's cheaper than a lot of replacement stuff I've been seeing around.

Yup, jmader I need the bushings, sleeves and bolts for the spring eyes, 2 Wheel Drive, Rear leaf springs, I'd really like ureathane (stiffness) but at this point beggars should not be choosey, eh?

Thanks for your HELP you guys! - Lee
