Interesting Craiglist Ad

I stumbled onto this Craigslist ad and I thought you fellow 67-72 GM Truck fans would appreciate it. No,it's not an ad for one of our trucks. In fact,it's not even for a GM car. It's for a '61 Ford Starliner, which is a very cool old car! The seller is open to specific trades and when you read the ad you'll know why I posted it for conversation here.

The sad part is that is not the worse a cl I have seen this week! Writing an ad is not that hard. I can't fathom why people have so much trouble with it.

Re: Interesting Craiglist Ad

I guess you guys are all getting something different out of this. I thought it would be obvious, especially since this is an ad for a Ford car in the area that is just for 67-72 GM Truck related topics. What I saw so interesting, and I thought would make good conversation,is the fact that this is a Ford car for sale by a Ford guy. Ole Dollar, you're right,he is picky. He'll trade for a Ford Falcon or a Ford Mustang or a Ford SWB F100 OR A 67-72 SWB CHEVY OR GMC!!! Even a Ford guy would take a 67-72 GM Truck! I find that interesting and it shows just how well liked they are.
This thread isn't about a '61 Ford Starliner. We don't know that much on this car. I had to check back to see if I missed the pictures by what was said here. A '61 Starliner trumps all those dime a dozen Fords he'd trade for. I don't think there's anything unreasonable about the ad.

Re: Interesting Craiglist Ad

I saw that he is willing to trade a fairly rust free trailer queen without a motor and needs floor and trunk pans for my rust free daily driver vehicle plus my cash. But yes, I would rather have a Starliner than a simple early Mustang or Falcon. Unless it was a Boss 429 Mustang or Shelby 500.

I'd also add a Boss 302 or Mach 1 with a Cobra Jet to the list.

Even true Ford guy's know a great truck when they see it!

Speaking of this I went to a pretty much all Ford car show the other weekend but they didn't give out trophy's for some reason.

J/K it was at a Rod shop and these are cars waiting to be redone I guess. He had them all over the place.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
