front crossmember issues

So I have a 65 c10 and I want it on the ground. I would like to put porterbuilt on it but just dont have the money. So their are two more option that I know of. Pie cutting the crosmember and Z ing the frame. But I dont know what pie cutting is. Does anybody have any pics of a pie cut crossmember? Or any other options that u guys know of
Thanks
