Delay wipers retrofit ??

Hey guys, Anyone added a delay wiper to their truck? I live in foggy place and this is one modern invention I would like to add without messing up my classic truck . I would like to keep the standard issue wiper switch if possible. Somebody must have done this before..........

Re: Delay wipers retrofit ??

Do a search. There are a number of threads dealing directly with this. There is also several products on the market to retrofit. If you are running an LSx you can search there and find a wealth of info.

Some of the guys here have done a real bang-up job integrating Delays to look completely factory installed.

I'm trying to find someone whose installed a foot operated switch to activate the wiper, is like to be able to tap a button on the floor when a quick wipe is needed. Anyone done this?
