Re: Looking for a No Spin Sticker
I had a bear of a time getting the Sticker off without tearing it... Someone should be able to reprint one from this... Just not sure who...

I think it would be pretty hard with the foil background... LockDoc

Re: Looking for a No Spin Sticker
The foil is doable. Here's an example of the 1972 aux fuel tank decals I reproduced as compared with an OEM example:

Re: Looking for a No Spin Sticker
No doubt about that if price is no object...... You might contact DeadheadNM (Pete). He had the Aux fuel tank decals made and they have a foil background. He indicated that they were very pricey to do and they are smaller than the no-spin... Edit: I type way to slow... Or Pete types too fast LockDoc

Re: Looking for a No Spin Sticker
Leon is correct - the minimum order I had to place for these made the run cost ~$275. I'm still in the hole actually but it was fun.

Re: Looking for a No Spin Sticker
One more factor is the No Spins are two color with a couple of font sizes....

Re: Looking for a No Spin Sticker

OK guys, I may have come up with something on this. It is almost impossible to take a picture of it because of the reflection. I will try again tomorrow in the natural light. I am going to send one of them to Dan to check out since he is the one that started this thread. He can post his thoughts on it here. I put an adhesive back on it as well as laminating the front. I do have a lot of hours in the project and I do not have a magic wand to mass produce them. I can print multiples but applying the adhesive backing and laminate front is a one at a time process. Please do not post that you want one here. Once Dan has a chance to look it over and give it a thumbs up or down I will post a thread in the classified forum and update this thread, or not.... .. Re: Looking for a No Spin Sticker
Just about any good sign shop can make those. I worked at one in Colorado Springs for a while and they use to make all sorts of stickers on foil background.

We know that. Have you read the whole thread? DeadheadNM had some AUX TANK labels made and it was pretty expensive. He said he is still in the hole on his project... I'm not looking to put myself in that position. Thanks for your input though. LockDoc

Re: Looking for a No Spin Sticker
Thanks Pete. I think they look a lot better in the flesh. The picture makes it look pretty washed out.

Re: Looking for a No Spin Sticker
Leon... Looks real good from the picture... I will let you know once it gets here... Only thing that looks a little off in the picture is the KS-10 looks like it needs to be more Bold Print... But overall it looks AWESOME!!!... Guys I will be in contact with Leon over this just as soon as it gets here but I have no reason to believe that this will be any less quality than the lock sets he sells... People that work in perfection tend to do everything with the same level of perfection... Dan

Re: Looking for a No Spin Sticker
I have an unused one. They didn't come installed, but were in the glovebox packet. I'm not sure mine is the correct model#,it's been a while since I've had it in my hand. But,I considered having these made by my sign shop buddy. The problem is the model#. A K/10 with require a different sticker from a K/20. I would have the K/20s done because that's the factory device they came with.

Thanks Dan, As soon as the P.O. opens it will be on it's way. Please post any differences you find here, after you check it with your original. The hardest part was trying to find fonts that matched the original ones. LockDoc
