Nice, clean, chrome vent windows...

Nice set of chrome vent windows with factory green tint. I had planned on fully restoring these but just don't have the time.

The weather seals need to be replaced regardless. The channel felt is ok for a daily driver(ok on top, a bit shredded on the bottom.)

The chrome is in excellent shape. The handle on the driver's side was well pitted so I replaced it with what I had available, which is NOS, although it has a small hickey and a few tiny pits. Passenger handle with minimal small pits as well.

$200 plus shipping.

I've posted a few more picks ---> here.

Also have another pair in about the same condition but with clear glass. Will have pics of those soon.

Re: Nice, clean, chrome vent windows...

here you go...
I would say the chrome is a bit nicer than the tinted pair. The only issue with this set is the drivers side glass is scratched. I'd throw in another piece of glass but all I have left are tinted.
The rubber and felt channel would need replacing just as the first pair.

So you have some soft ray vent window glass you might part with?

Interested in the set with Soft Ray glass. Where in CA are you located? I'd be even more interested if they where within driving distance. Thanks.

Re: Nice, clean, chrome vent windows...

Undone, I'll have to double check but from what I saw the other day, I have a set of aftermarket and a set of soft ray in green tint. I'm holding onto the soft rays for now but if I have another set i'll let u know.

claszkie, I think both sets are soft ray. I used to be close by(was born in Santa Ana) but now I'm in the Bay Area, truck is in the East Bay, West of Stockton.
Maybe we could trade?, you still building them custom Sidewinder mounts? hehe

In any case, I'm currently at the Denver airport heading South for the holiday and won't be back to the windows until the 26th or 27th.

Re: Nice, clean, chrome vent windows...

How bad are the seals on the first set? Is the rubber cracked at all? I damn near ruined a set trying to rebuild them so now I'm looking for a set of vent windows that's suitable to throw right in. Sorry, I'm having trouble looking at the link you posted with more pics. I'm interested if the rubber isn't cracked

I'll see if I can get some closeup shots when I'm there later today or tomorrow.
Thanks
