MY 66 IS ALL I HAVE TO DRIVE, 10'' ON THE GROUND LAST Thursday, drove 40 miles back and forth to work, posi-traction helps a lot and 4 tubes of sand!!

I try to keep mine dry....Normally it is hidden under a nice warm tarp when it rains....but I have no issue driving it in the rain or snow if I need to....only problem is my wind shield wiper motor is trying to run like a F$%D!!! LOL!

Snow banks here are as high as my hood. Even if I wanted to put it out in the cold and salt it would be useless.

So yesterday I got stuck trying to get out and got towed back into the drive way by a nice neighbor with 4x4. The sun was out and I didn't expect it to last long. Well.... It's been snowing again all morning and this time my head start from the garage won't be possible since I never made it that far and was left in the drive.... My question is , will a block heater(magnetic type to the pan or block you plug in) electricute me if it's plugged in under the snow? I have to try to get out cause I love my new job at ups and don't want to call in.

Mag block heater will be just fine for you. No electrocution risk.

Thanks bud I'm try n clear it out a lil first but I just bought one with virtually no directions other than it gets 250 degrees. I will plug her in and start shoveling. Next purchase will either be an old tractor with a bucket or a 4x4. These bias ply Mt m-50s suck in the snow for sure, but it sure sounded good making the attempt.

I think I would have been fine if it was just snow we got. But we got at least an inch of sleet and Ice first, then 6+"

Yeah That is alot worse then we got....over here in Oregon we got 2 inches of Black Ice all over the roads! Stuff is slicker then snot! It'll put a 2wd 66 sideways in a heart beat! lol!

It's going to be 79 here on Christmas I hope that will not be to hot to BBQ on Christmas eve.

P.S. I am actually vary jealous that you all have snow.

Had freezing rain here in Oklahoma. I'm ready for the hot summertime myself....
BTW, that's about 1/4-1/2 inch of ice all over my truck.
