Fender badge dimensions

Can someone give me the dimensions of this fender badge? I'm getting a custom set made but would like to keep it as close to the original size as possible.

Re: Fender badge dimensions

Thank you sir!!!!

Could you give me the size of the square? That should give me everything he needs to know.

Here's my idea for the badge, it might change when I see samples or get his input on it.

Re: Fender badge dimensions

2.5" wide by 2.25 tall. What if you put custom cummins instead of deluxe?

I might do something like that if he can reproduce the font from the 70's badge. I was also thinking that I might cast my own after I have collected the letters and do something like CUMMMINS CUSTOM DELUXE /30. The 50's hotroder in me likes the custom deluxe.

Dam it, guess lm back to the drawing board cause I like the old jimmy/vandura badges also.

That's no fun, it's the small things that people go nuts over.

Re: Fender badge dimensions

I know it's cheaper to make it all one piece like the original at Billet Badges, they say if you take the tabs out between everything the cost goes up because it's then considered a separate badge

I'm going to do a set in vinyl for now, than cast a set out of aluminum when I get the letters together for the final product.

Re: Fender badge dimensions

Think it would also make it harder to line up, also more holes to drill in the fender... Idk i wouldn't but i'm just thinking out loud...

Re: Fender badge dimensions

New ones are just stick on from Billet Badges, so you need to fill the factory mounting holes, or just apply over holes

There's no hole in my fenders so I'm going to cast it like the 67+ badges with a flat backer so I can use double sided tape to hold them on. I have to get photoshop going and get a design sorted.

Re: Fender badge dimensions

Here's the final design for the temp decals. I'm going to make one similar to this.

well on the gate though im going to take a 6.2 diesel badge and trim out the two and put another 6 in there. if i could get a vintage look dmax badge id put it on there or make the new one look more squared and blocked off to look like the deluxe badge.
