GM Total Information Package - Your Truck

If you take this string (without the quotes) and change the year to the year of your truck,

you will get all the info you could ever want to know.

Thanks to Keith Seymore, GM Full Size Truck Engineering

Best info yet on differences between my 78 Heavy Half and regular C-10- C-15. One thing it doesn't mention. Good post.

Re: GM Total Information Package - Your Truck

One thing it doesn't say, larger gas fill tube for regular gas nozzle. (guess I stopped in mid thought above until I run over and look at neighbors C-10 filler) There is tons of mis info re differences. Might make a page with FOR SURE, FACTUAL DIFFERENCES. When I counted only 34 teeth on ring gear I started investigating. Found out rear ends are 34-10 for 3.40 and 34-11 for 3.09. GMC Heavy Half-Chevy Big Ten.
