Newest update, Intro's Vista 6 complements of "Craig's List"
But......I'm undecided on the wheels, to shallow?, tires need more sidewall, and the front needs to come down some-more. Opinons are welcome!!!! Oops, Forgot Photos!!!!

Re: 65' Short Fleet BBW "The Pumpkin"
Have always liked that wheel, especially the 5-spoke version. They look great on the truck, but I agree that it needs to come down a little more. I also agree that it needs beefier tires. If that's the look (custom/classic) you're going for, those wheels are nice. That said, I like the steelies you had for that "factory" look as well. Just keep both sets & swap them out from time to time.

I'm going against myself here and saying no. Maybe lowered more with proper size tires will help. Right now I prefer the old look better

Re: 65' Short Fleet BBW "The Pumpkin"
I don't know, I LIKE IT !! It changes the truck completely and really brightens it up. Inch or two lower might be nice. Just another opinion................

Re: 65' Short Fleet BBW "The Pumpkin"
If the wheels were 5-spoke it would look entirely different.
So you're thinking about selling it huh?

Re: 65' Short Fleet BBW "The Pumpkin"
Now thats better. I think the tires are the turn off. If you had proper height tires and a bit lower in the rear it would make a huge difference.

Re: 65' Short Fleet BBW "The Pumpkin"
I'm not a big fan of the "o-ring" tires on our trucks. You've got to slam the truck to the ground in order to fill the wheel openings and not see the top of the tire. That means air ride, and I wouldn't do that to this truck. A truck with big diameter rims and a short sidewall looks odd at a driveable ride height. Plus, I like some rim depth in the rear to exaggerate the look.
Work the tire heights, get some sidewall on the rear tires and go with the hot rod big/little look. Keep it on coils and utilize the simple bolt on parts in case you want to take it back to stock in the future. If it was me, I'd have some custom 15x10 steel wheels made for the rear, paint 'em white and run the stock centercaps with no trim rings. Find a set of 285/70-15 BFGs. Run the stock 15x6 wheels in the front. Drop the front by cutting a coil and adding drop spindles. Drop the rear with a 3" drop spring and a 2" block. Add a super track bar kit from ECE and relocate the shocks. It'll have a stock look with a hot rod stance and it'll ride nice.

Re: 65' Short Fleet BBW "The Pumpkin"
I love the opinions guys!!! Remember these wheels and tires were a Craig's list find, if I wasn't a bargain shopper and would bought them new the wheels would be deeper and the tires would have thicker skins and..............But, I'll be removing them later today.
