Anyone used cpp power disc conv and prop valve have a pic on how it's set up? I turned it sideways to get the line to work but the brackets they sent with it don't come close. Thanx

Re: Cpp master cyl and prop valve
I installed one of these on my buddies truck and used the old proportioning valve bracket, the lines only needed the slightest tweaking to line up. Hope this helps.

Re: Cpp master cyl and prop valve
That's probably the best way, but I've already bought there lines so they only line up with there crap. Shoulda consulted the board first. Thanx for your input

Re: Cpp master cyl and prop valve
I bought their whole setup and the booster was junk right out of the box, I too had to turn the proportioning valve(which was also bad by the way) sideways and the bracket didnt work either! Now To there credit They tried to help me alot and did there best to help me figre out the problem. After chasing the problem for a quite awhile I just went and bought a booster from oreilly(which was what I suspected was bad in the first place) and put the CPP master back on it bypassed the proportioning valve and it works phenominally now!!.. Thing is the booster passed all the tests we did and showed good but it sure wasnt. hope you have better luck than me...!

Re: Cpp master cyl and prop valve
I've installed 3 of these kits in the last 6 months and have not had any problems.

Re: Cpp master cyl and prop valve
It would not hold any vacuum at all, would not even build any up. I had the new one I purchased right beside it and there was total difference. You can lay it on its face and use your hand to push the rod up and down about 3 times and it should build. My bad CPP one would just pump up and down all day long no pressure.

Re: Cpp master cyl and prop valve
Yea, its hit or miss with boosters, I worked in parts many years ago and it was the same then. You could get new rebuilds bad right out of the box then, its a thing with boosters and always has been. I got another of the same setup that works perfectly. CPP was nice and helpful all the times I spoke with them, no bad talk about them from me.

Re: Cpp master cyl and prop valve
You should be alright, just some days chicken some days feathers. It happens, if you do have problems they'll work with you, master cylinder worked great!!
