1971 C10 Stepside
Just got my great grandfather's C10 delivered this week. Excited to finally start diving in to the restoration process. Learned to drive this truck out on the farm when I was 5. Been attached to it ever since.

Re: 1971 C10 Stepside
At 5 you could reach the pedals AND see over the dash at the same time?

Re: 1971 C10 Stepside
thanks so much for the welcome party! haha fitz.. my technique was ducking down below the dash, both feet to hit the clutch, and back up to steer. (with a little help by grandma)

Re: 1971 C10 Stepside
Welcome to the board and BIG congrats on the "new" truck.
With that family history that old truck should be very original. Perhaps a good candidate for minimal "upgrades". cheers JohnG |
