Hydroboost: what size aftermarket master cylinder?
I didn't want to step on Mooseknuckles thread since mine is a bit different.
What bore master cylinder would you suggest if swapping to hydroboost? I have the "boost" setup and am tired of my current master cylinders leaking so I was going to step up.

Assuming its 4 wheel disc 1 inch Wilwood is what we use.

Does this bolt on directly? In other words, if I have hydroboost, all I would have to do is just swap out the master?

Yes it will bolt right on. They come in 3 finish options natural,Media Burnished (light polished) and black. You can also get it with prop valve installed.
Pm me on pricing. |

Re: Hydroboost: what size aftermarket master cylinder?
I will drop you a PM for some pricing but mine is front disk and rear drum, nothing fancy. I do have the wilwood D52 replacement up front.
I had collected the makings for a swap but didn't have the master cylinder plus my "factory" one looks like crap and I seem to have a bit of seepage I can't fix.

The master will be fine on disc drum as long as it has a prop valve 10lb residual vavlve.

Re: Hydroboost: what size aftermarket master cylinder?
I got this on mine for cheap. 40$ i think. Mine came with a nice looking reservoir ,
http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...dentifier=2097 I had to elongate the holes for it to bolt up. Uses standard 3/16 line inverted flare fittings |
