What a clean pickup, and it looks like it sold new in Great Falls which is north of me. I think City Chevrolet is still around too.

Super nice 4 x 4. Seller says in the EBay ad it was painted 20 years ago but not used much since and parked inside.

Re: 1970 Chevrolet 4 wheel drive, 292, 4 Sp. SURVIVOR

i live literally like 20 minutes away from this guy!!!! super nice looking truck and a 4spd 4x4/292 is about my perfect ride. throw a camper on the back and its huntin time! it would be killer if he was interested in trading for my 67 2wd.

the best part is he asks not to cut the dash. bet thats the first thing the new owner does. both of mine were emaciated when i got them. *sigh* i wonder what the reasoning behind it is....prolly goes like this... yeah lets cut up a sweet factory dash for no good reason other than to jam some crap-tastic $20 walmart radio in there, why the hell not.

sorry, im just bitter cause both my babies are now scarred for life due to a coupla genetic defectives trying to be " hip. "
tho, dont get me wrong, some of you guys make em look real nice and all, but i had to recue mine from....well....genetic defectives.

What a great truck! I would love to have an old 4x4 with a 292 straight 6. Sure hope this one doesn’t fall into hands of some hack that must cut it in half to make a short bed, stuff an LS engine into it then scuff the paint up to look patina’d. These old survivor trucks are getting to hard to come by for that kind of nonsense.

This is a truck to be preserved. I hope someone with that mentality wins the auction. This is not a truck for the short sighted. Check out the factory original Spicer red knobs! Rear caps are '73+ and Chevy didn't make no 1500,but none of that can hurt this truck. It would take very little to put back 100% original.

The 15 x 8 6 hole steelies I have stashed painted like the ones on the truck with the right dog dishes and front and rear chrome bumpers would, for me, make this truck perfect. I watched the videos and it does run sweet. You'd think power brakes would be mandatory/standard on a 4 x 4.

The "survivor" truck looks nice! Even with the repaint and lift kit.

I'm hooked on this one and that is why at the time of this post I am high bidder. There is just something about this truck and I think its the originality and color combo that is getting to me.

Be careful, I might outbid you...

Just kidding, I'd have to answer to the wife. But I agree, it's a sweet truck! Good luck! I hope you get it. Of course you have to meet the reserve.

Its 750 miles from here so if I end up getting it I have to factor in another $1500/1800 to get it home and give the Governments their due..... I think it'd be a great ride home.

It sure is a nice looking and well loved truck, one that I would be proud to own for sure.
I'd keep it just the way it is, and drive it as a dd.
