HVAC Actuators

I'm having problems with my defrost door and blend door. Does anybody know if the actuators are the same. I have a 1987 model and i can't find nothing for that model. I found one for a 1986 model but the are several on the heater box. I really dont know if they all are the same or are they different. Could anyone help me with and info. Thanks.

Re: HVAC Actuators

Thanks for those pictures that is really helpful. Question, where do i purchase the actuators for a 1987 c/r10. I can find one for a 1986 or lower but nothing for a 1987. Thanks Jason.

Re: HVAC Actuators

I still have one new actuator I never used for my 83 C20. Can you post the GM/Delco part number and I can tell you if I have at least one of them. Check Rock Auto online catalog to help with the Delco part number. I have the actuator that goes on the heater box.

Re: HVAC Actuators

I see the blend door actuator on rock auto for an 1986 model and that the only one i see. Mine stays in defrost all the time so i would love to change the blend door and the defrost one. Does anyone know if all the acutators are the same.

Re: HVAC Actuators

well you can check them....
some washer size hose should work, apply suction by mouth if want
see if things move, other things break to keep it from moving too
