I'm taking my cradles out and after unbolting they are stuck to the rear wall. Is this due to adhesive? I see no signs of welding them in. Anyone attempted this?

They are spot welded to the rear wall of the cab. Once you clean off the paint you will be able to see all of them better. If I remember correctly, there are quite a few spot welds on each one.

There are about 9 per side if I remember correctly. I just had to cut some out to put back in my truck.

Spot welded. 4-5 peer bracket I think. Just took mine out. Was a pain but doable. Back wall is thin though so be careful. I burned the paint on the exterior in a few places, and poked a few holes. I'm a newb though so it was probably avoidable. You'll need to fab up new cab mounts for the rear once the brackets are out.

If you don't need them completely removed from the cab, you can take the same approach I did.

I was thinking of chopping them cougar, that came out nice.

Thanks. I didn't see a reason to remove them completely but wanted to gain what space I could.

You can drill out the spot welds with a spot weld cutter but I just used a 1/8" drill bit. If you lightly drill each spot weld, then pry up a little, then drill a little----you may be able to remove without having to fully drill through the spot weld. If you drill to far, you will need to weld the hole closed.
