Rare Blazer wheel? 16.5 x 6
Searching the CL, I found these advertised 16"/6-lug wheels with 9.50 x 16.5 tires.
Hmmnn...I'd not heard of those; some kind of mix up maybe? After some research here, I discovered this info (unverified): 1969 Blazer (6 stud, 4wd only) Std. 15x5.5 Opt. 15x6 Opt. 16x6 Opt. 16.5x6 1970 Blazer (6 stud) Std. 15x5.5 Opt. 15x6 Opt. 16x6 Opt. 16.5x6 (4wd only) 1970 Jimmy (6 stud) Std. 15x5.5 Opt. 15x6 Opt. 16x6 Opt. 16.5x6 (4wd only) Still unsure, I went to take a look and bought them any way. If they were the optional 16 x 6's, I'd still be good with them, but they turned out to be the 16.5" x 6.00 Since they don't come up that often; and I spent some time looking on this forum for that information, thought I'd post. Mostly for the purists but we can all learn something. These are not for sale. Anymore info is welcome about these. This link to a great build, I believe has these same wheels. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=329775&page=8 Now some pics; First photo, according to my archives, is the 16 x 6 steel option Second or red wheel is the 16.5" wheel, 3 nubs for the 10" cap and 4" backspacing/3.5" center hole.

Good info. Thanks for posting. The K5 SPID thread (http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=586670) may have examples now of all available tire sizes that correspond to the wheel sizes above.

Re: Rare Blazer wheel? 16.5 x 6
Quick rule of thumb is any of the wheels with a .5 (16.5) will have a sloped bead where the tire sits and the others will be squared off.
I have a 71 2wd blazer that still has the orginal 16" 5 lug wheels.

Re: Rare Blazer wheel? 16.5 x 6
How rare are the 16"x6" steel wheels. 5x5 bolt pattern. I picked up a set a few months ago, just to use as rollers. If they are fairly rare, I would probably pass the on to a Resto guy who needs them.
NOT A FOR SALE AD.
