Just a few chassis/Exhaust pics

Here's a just a couple quick pictures of a chassis we are putting together. The chassis is one of our standard c-10 chassis's. This particular one was built with the be mounts in place since it's going to be sitting really low. We're building a full stainless exhaust using the customers supplied headers. It's coming out pretty nice.

Re: Just a few chassis/Exhaust pics

This chassis is using the Chassisworks spindle with our 15" Wilwood brake kit.

Check out the size of the fuel tank! 30+ gallons. It's a beast.

Our drop down C-10 battery box. These are pretty cool. It swings down so you can access the battery with the bed on. This one's set up for an Optima.

Really nice fab work. The four link and rear end look great! Keep the pictures coming on this build.

Re: Just a few chassis/Exhaust pics

Thanks for sharing. I have a few questions if you don't mind.

1. I'm assuming you are tig welding that exhaust. Are you purging it before welding?
2. Are there any isolators where the magnaflows attached to the mounting bracket? If so, what kind are they and where can they be purchased?
3. Where are the splined sway bar from? Are you putting a matched one on the rear?

Thanks! Looking good.

Re: Just a few chassis/Exhaust pics

1.The exhaust is tig welded 100% and it is purged before
2.The isolators we get them thru our local muffler shop.
3.The torsion spline bars we buy them from Speedway eng

We make all the crossmembers and brackets for them and bent the bars ourself for the spline bars.If you are looking for some let us know we can help you out.We sell them all
the time.

There is a rear torsion spline bar on the rear of the frame. Not bolted up yet

Re: Just a few chassis/Exhaust pics

On cutting the S.S tube we use a cut off wheel.
The headers are not Sanderson. They are a custom built S.S header

Re: Just a few chassis/Exhaust pics

Exhaust is all finished up. I'll shoot a few pictures once the chassis is on the ground and done. Turned out pretty nice...

Re: Just a few chassis/Exhaust pics

Exhaust turned out great! But I'm curious...since you guys have won AMBER and all, don't you have a mandrel bender or access to one? I personally like all the tig welded sections, just curious is all.

We have mandrel tubing benders for our chassis parts on round tubing.
We have CNC machine shops in our machine shop
We do not have a mandrel bender for exhaust. We do not do alot of exhaust work in our shop to justify spending BIG $$$ on one.

Most of our customers who want a custom S.S exhaust want to see the tig welds and this is why we buy Mandrel bends from SPD.

Hopefully this make sense

We won the AMBR twice but who is counting.lol
