Speed warning cable

Is there anyone out there that reproduces the adjustor cable that moves the needle in the speed warning head? I've heard that a camaro reproduction will work is that true?

Also can someone post a picture of where the "lug pin" is mounted on the tin

Thanks

Re: Speed warning cable

The lug pin is just to the lower right of the tachometer. All circuit boards have the provision for them. The cable for a Camaro is longer and will usually bind, unless you mount it further away from the factory location (which can vary from some I've seen). The cable for our trucks is not reproduced.

Try ebay. There's an NOS one on there right now. It's $150 or BO.

I hear you. If you upgrade your membership to a subscribed member, you can post a Want to Buy (WTB) thread on The 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC Pickups Parts Board. Good luck!
