Re: 1970...or not??
that is a 72 door and panel. you can tell as the 72's had plastic panels and the counter sunk screw in the door for the vent widow/ window track thingy[actual body shop term]. Jim

you can't find this style on a 70 trim parts page? You can find molded armrest door panels but not this plain rib style?

Re: 1970...or not??
Ugh - I was questioning the door panel but I guess I got my answer. The previous owner must have replaced with 72 doors
That's sucks |

Re: 1970...or not??
72 doors are hard to come by (Good Doors) so if you want the correct ones for your truck someone would gladly trade you for them .I personally like the 72 doors and panels better.

Re: 1970...or not??
Check to see where the rear view mirror is located. Is it glued to the windshield or screwed to the roof? 72's are on the windshield.

Re: 1970...or not??
Go to classic parts.com they have the 72 panels...It appears they only have black in 72' but show red in previous years...They do have upholstery dyes & paints as well. Might give them a ring to verify the availability of red panels for a 72

Re: 1970...or not??
I'm pretty sure you would just buy them in black and then dye them yourself or send them out to have it done if your not able or don't have the time. Jim

Re: 1970...or not??
I like it as is,but black would also go with the program you have there. It appears your '72 door panels are already dyed/painted. That's not quite the color the original interior would have been. Yours are the base door panels and I'm sure whatever you find offered will be the an imitation of the fancier scroll type. Unless I'm wrong, those made are close but no cigar. You can dye yours, find black originals,or change the door handle and window winder posts to the shorter 67-71 type and get proper '70 door panels.

Re: 1970...or not??
I'd love to know what model that shifter stick is made for. My Hurst shifter stick doesn't bend that far back over the bench seat. Mine is more upright and doesn't have the gentle bend that one does. Anyone have any guesses?

Re: 1970...or not??
best I can tell it looks like it has the proper throttle pedal set up for a '70. Is there a door pillar vent on the driver side? Wouldn't have one on a '70 truck.
