New guy just got dads truck outta storage

Hi my names kevin. I built this truck with my dad in early 90s. Its been stored since about 2002. As he is now interested in offroading he told me I could do what I want with this truck. My plan is to build a low buck satin black street rod just to have some fun with. I purchased cowl hood, fenders and rad support from nappa and picked up a decent box of kijiji . I love this site ive been watching it for months. It has inspired me to get started on this project. Everyone seems to be a big help here. Thanks in advance. Im sure ill have a lot of questions lol. Sorry for long post

Back in the 90's... I had a "plaid" colored 67 unfinished pro-streeter very similar to that one. I sold it in Dallas Texas about 1993.

Re: New guy just got dads truck outta storage

Now you need a set of inner fenders in the rear, I've got a set but have to be cut to fit. Right now they are trimed up for a trash burnibg barrel, Ha! Ha! I had a paint booth like your when I did my first paint job it was cool. Trucks look real good.

So far plans are for a wood floor and tubs. I know a local wood burning artist. Im gonna give him a huge blank canvas and let him go nuts followed by a stain and many coats of clear coat. Truck will probably be satin black like the 86 for now. Dont gotta paint booth gotta use the one god gave me lol. The 86 turned out better then I expected for my first attemp. It was my practice truck lol
