I any of you need this information before making a change send me a PM with the following information:

1. YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS (I cannot post a excel spreadsheet to the forum)

2. transmission that you now have and the one you want to change to.

3. height from the ground to the top of the rear tire on your truck now and the new height you want to change to.

3. rear axle ratio--------(the spreadsheet will show you performance with most available gear ratios)

4. engine info, stock engines I have the hp on, if yours is not stock give me some idea of top rpm and hp .........

Agreed! There is very little aftermarket support for the straight 6, even though most 60-66 Chevy trucks came with straight 6's originally. I guess they don't need the money.
