upgrade cs 144 alternator
im in the process of upgrading my whole wiring system.
I decided to go with a cs 144 alternator. I have a sbc. the top bracket needed to be modified. the ears needed to be extended to accommodate the large alternator. im glad I started this. the stock wires where, just about pure ashes. lol! larry |

A great junkyard source for the 140 amp version of this is the 94-96 Caprice/Roadmaster/Fleetwood RWD cars. Note that some Caprices have the smaller case 105amp version.
