Will have some pictures up soon of my new project 72. I'm building it just to have some fun on the street " Stop light to Stop light" So my question is, has any one used Howards cam 112031-06? 480/480 lift , 285 duration, 106 lobe separation.

Re: New member
Welcome! I had a Howards cam in a truck I sold. Don't recall the specs but it worked great. I have had cams from a bunch of big names and had a few glitches from time to time. Specs sound like its going to have a great lope to it. Should be a blast. You might have to post a vid so we can check out the sound!

Re: New member
Welcome from Fla also. White trucks are clean.
The key to "light to light" is getting the 3rd member to bite, no small feat with these trucks. Check out the "Farm Truck" for reference.

I picked up the Torque Thrust wheels for $100, one had a bent lip so I had it fixed. The rear offset is a little to much for me, but I have the 12bolt out of my 67 that should pull the wheels in about an 1" on ether a side. |
