Re: stuff I found while the wife and I were in st louis this past week

The white c50 was cool, and the blue 68 was to nice to be in the junkyard. The red tow truck was rough, but really cool also

The wheels on that Green '67 look like Jackmans. If they are I think they are pretty hard to find.

The doors on the C-50 will work for a pickup. You just have to weld a piece in the corner where the fender cutout is. A lot of times the doors on those trucks are really nice.

I dont remember what the wheels said on the cap, but you're right about the doors. They were real nice. Very good shape

I met two members also during the trip. Sapper4 in north carolina, and clatterville trolley today in missouri today before I left. We are in west virginia right now.

The red cowl pic in the second set of pics is that a C50 with air that is what I think I am seeing. If so that is a rare one indeed, not too many of those.

What I hate about Speedway salvage is you just never know one day to next if the same vehicle will be there. Sometimes they let it get picked clean to the bone next time they don't. Plus if you stick a fuse in your pocket or tool bag they will charge you if they catch it.
