Saying hello from Washington State

Hello everyone, I am a total newbie checking in, who has wanted a 60's Chevy truck since I was a little kid. Well with the wife's approval, I finally pulled the trigger on a 66 C20. I feel that I am probably in over my head, but that is the fun of learning new skills huh? Any other folks out there, that are from Washington? I looked for truck clubs but didn't find any around here. Hope you all are well, and are enjoying your trucks as much as I hope to enjoy mine.

Hello and welcome! I'm not from Washington, but a couple of my trucks are! Seems to be a hotbed of sorts up there for finding survivor type pickups. Yours looks good in the one pic, but you should be aware that we are all photo junkies here. More pics!

Thanks for the welcome, I will try and get some more pics on here soon. Just got it tuned up, and drivable. I am pretty excited with what I have to start with, all lights and gages work. Engine and tranny work and shift well. It has some rust issues, but fixing it will have to wait a while til I get some "play" money again. I am just happy to drive it, and my little girls are loving Daddie's "new" truck

Hi Tj, I was born and raised in Eugene. Oregon still feels like home for me, and I try to get back whenever possible. I look forward to the journey, but damn I wish I had taken advantage of a lot of classes I had available in High School, I feel so unprepared.

Thanks Mike, I think I did alright, I sat on the money for quite a while, lots of looks at Craigslist, and quite a lot of test drives, or tire kicking, until the right one came along. I guess it is mine now, so I have to love it
