Drivers Door Upper Hinge
Have some slop in my driver door hinge - I replaced the pins and bushings and the slop is still there - it appears that the bore of the pin hole to be enlarged due the original pin movement. My question is am I better off buying a new hinge or drill out the out of round hole and fabricate new bushings that fit?
If you think that I need to buy a new hinge, can you tell me where I can get one that is exactly what was put on at the factory and of good quality? Thanks KellerMac

Re: Drivers Door Upper Hinge
You should be able to go to the part store and get a different hinge pin and bushing kit that is larger diameter. When I rebuilt my hinges I needed to ream the holes slightly larger for the bushings to fit.

Re: Drivers Door Upper Hinge
I ordered a pair of upper hinges from Truck and Car Shop, fit great, easy install, and decent delivery time.
