64 c20 or c10 coil springs
My64 c20 has 1 coil cut from original springs. I added 2 1/2" drop spindles and want to go back to stock springs. Does anyone know if c10 springs will fit? If so would I see any positive difference in ride quality with c10 springs? Weekend driver- no hauling- no towing. I have already done a 5 lug conversion. Trying to get my I6 headers off the ground.

Re: 64 c20 or c10 coil springs
I am almost positive that the C10 springs are the same. I just installed a 79 front crossmember and put 2" drop springs made for a C10 in and they fit perfectly. Can't tell you about the ride quality since mine is not driveable yet.

And yours is a c20 earl, currently with c10 springs? Can you tell if ride height is same?

Re: 64 c20 or c10 coil springs
I can't tell yet on the ride height. I should have clarified what not driveable meant. Mine is waiting on the installation of a 454, so it sits higher than it will once that's installed. So I can't help you there. I talked to a guy at CPP about these springs and ride height with the 454, and he had them on his truck and said they were lowered about the 2 inches and did fine with the big block in his truck. He had nothing to sell since I already had the springs, so I installed them. Can't wait to see it all together and driving.
