The truck will look just fine with either set of wheels. That's the orignal color combo of my truck when I bought it.

How would 275/55/20 look? Any one running that size?

275/25.4*.55*2+20
5.95" sidewall - 31.9" overall. That's a big tire. Not lowered or anything I'd be curious to see it though. I'd say it would look good.

Re: Old School to New Look
I did buy spacers as a temporary solution. I picked them up at Auto Zone, 5/16". Here are a few pictures.

Re: Old School to New Look
How much tread do you actually have in the nut after the wheel thickness is subtracted? I don't like spacers for that reason. I would think about longer studs.

Re: Old School to New Look
Longer studs are extended thread lug nuts that go down through the spacer. That's what I bought.

Re: Old School to New Look
In my case the spacers are temporary. I don't intend on keeping them as I will not take any chances of losing a wheel at highway speeds. You'll have to decide for yourself if they are safe or not. Here is are a couple of links I came across when researching the topic. "Make sure you have a minimum thread engagement of the diameter of the vehicle stud (as recommended by SAE). An example is, if the stud size of your vehicle is ½" then you will need a minimum of ½" of threads into the lug nut."
