Help finding Instrument Lens Cluster!

I have a 1991 Suburban GMC 1500 and need the lens for the dash. The one I have is severely non see-thru. Any ideas on where I can locate GM part number 25086641 or thoughts on cleaning/clearing the one I have, believe it was sprayed with some kind of clear coat or varnish, would be appreciated highly! Thank you and God bless!

Try that stuff they use to clear up faded headlights maybe? I know at the wrecking yards i go to someone comes in and buys all the good chevy dashes. You can walk the whole line and not find a single dash some days.

Re: Help finding Instrument Lens Cluster!

I clean my plastic instrument lenses with 3M Finnesse-It rubbing compound. I do it by hand and it makes them very smooth and clear to reuse.

Re: Help finding Instrument Lens Cluster!

Thank you Red88! They do have it and it is ordered, don't know how long till it gets shipped but my hubby soon will be able to put his dash back together... It has been apart for about 4 months or more

Thank you all for replies, cleaning was last resort and may do yet and have for spare!

God bless All!
