Heat and sound insulation
I plane to install this behind the gas tank, under the dash. Cheaper then the sticky stuff, and probably just as good if not better. I bought it at PepBoys.

Here is a pic of the adhesive. It gets tacky real fast. I cut the material in pieces, and installed them one at a time. I sprayed the body were the piece would go. Then the material. It was tacky in about 30 seconds. Paint thinner or mineral spirits will clean it off you fingers.

That stuff is crap, I have it in my suburban and it doesn't really do anything.
