Pro street rally wheel specs?
Got a 71 swb w/ a ECE 4/6 drop and I just finished mini tubbing it. I have a pair of 29x15.5r15 hoosier pro street radials already and I am about to pull trigger on a set of custom rallys from Stockton Wheels.
15X12 8" backspacing -rear 15X8 4.5" backspacing -front w/ probably some 235/70r15 BFG I think this will work. Please let me know what you think. |

Before you pull the trigger measure and measure again.
Those big meats need a 11" to 13" wide wheel. Here's a link to best figure it out. http://www.carcraft.com/techarticles...t/viewall.html |

Re: Pro street rally wheel specs?
4.5" backspace on your front 15" wheels is going to cause clearance issues with your lower a-arms (rubbing).
You'd be better off using a 15x7 with a 4" backspace. (3.5" bs would be even better,... but I don't know how far you would want them to stick out)

Re: Pro street rally wheel specs?
I am curently running
255/60r167 on 17"x8" 4.5"bs -front 275/60r17 on 17"x9" 5"bs- rear no problems at all. I am a little worried about 15's on front with my drop. Anyone having any clearance issues with inner wheel rubbing? Also plan on notching it and droping it another inch or 2 all the way around. |

Re: Pro street rally wheel specs?
With 15x7 and 3.5bs it will put the outer lip of the wheel at the same place as my current set up, right?

Re: Pro street rally wheel specs?
I've had 15x12s and I am currently running a 20x12 on the back of my 68 with a factory rear axle. Both sets of wheels had with a 7" backspacing.
