Anyone rolled or trimmed their front fender?
My Camaro clip settled out some and now my tires get into the fenders on turns. Anybody got any pics of how they coped with this issue? Anyone ever used a spacer or do they make taller coils to get some ride height back?

6" wheel, raise the front or shorten the control arms. I have done all three. Depends on the look you want

Re: Anyone rolled or trimmed their front fender?
You can't do this on a finished truck but a friend of mine cut the lip of the fender out and welded in the front fender flairs of a 64 Pontiac (he had access to a couple of parts cars) to flair his front and rear fenders for tire clearance. That was with a 55 Chevy car chassis under his shortened 48 truck.

Re: Anyone rolled or trimmed their front fender?
There are coil overs that will fit in the stock clip and they allow you to adjust ht. Heidts also makes 1" shorter control arms for the clip. I used both and also trimmed the fender roll back to about 3/8" across most of the top of the fender opening. It allowed me to use a 7" wheel with a little offset and a moderate turning radius. It will still touch on occasion if the suspension is compressed enough but it's low enough so you absolutely cannot tell the inner fender roll has been touched.....unless you're laying on your back by the fender opening....so I don't allow any tequila drinking near the truck.

Re: Anyone rolled or trimmed their front fender?
I have narrow wheels and 235/75/15 tires. I think I'm just gonna go back up an inch in the front. Theres plenty of info on camaro coils, ride height/ rate/ etc in charts on the web I just need to figure out which coils I need. And I may just use a coil spacer , I like the cushy ride of the factory coils

Re: Anyone rolled or trimmed their front fender?
none taken, thanks. I'm starting to like the stance more than taking sharp turns haha.

Re: Anyone rolled or trimmed their front fender?
That stance is perfect. The rims don't look like they have that much offset if any either.
I'd look at maybe rolling the inner lip of the fender a bit tighter where it might rub though. You might be able to squeeze the lip in on the inside enough to clear and not affect the outside any at all.
