Steering Column Color?

Did burgandy interiors have a burgandy Steering Wheel and Column?

I think someone here said that burgandy was only offered in 69. My 69 has a black column, but I don't think it's original.

Columns were color-keyed to the interior but only for the more popular colors from what I've seen (Blue, red, green, tan). I think black would have been correct for your color IMO. FYI, all truck tilts were black.

Mine is a tilt, I suppose then it is possible that it's original.

That has been my observation. It's the old lowest common denominator factor. Tilts were not a popular option. Why go thru the added expense to color key them for such low production. Black goes with any interior!

So does everyone agree, no burgandy columns or steering wheels exist?
