Couple pics after wash - 72 Super, 4.5/6.5 drop on rallys
Got my new hounds tooth seat cover in the mail. Looking forward to having it put on.
I will finish the ECE suspension install and review thread I started. Just posting these after doing a wash after work today. A couple of the photos make the paint look black because of the shade. I've received a few PM's asking for photos of just the paint, so I included some at the very bottom using custom white balance, so they're a good representation of the dark olive green. There is tarnish on the grill surround. I've tried rubbing it 'till my arm falls off with no luck. Any ideas? I was quoted $400 to refinish it. Very good representation of the color |

Nice clean truck.
You're not going to have any luck polishing the grille-as it's anodized aluminum. if you get bored on day you can strip the anodizing off (I like to use oven cleaner) and polish it, but you'd have to clear coat it or get it anodized again so it lasts. I'd rather do that than put an aftermarket part on that won't fit.

I thought ECE only made a 4.5/6? That's awesome you can get that extra half inch! Don't you have to cnotch??

Not too many solid Olive Green trucks around. That is one of the best!

Re: Couple pics after wash - 72 Super, 4.5/6.5 drop on rallys
Their standard kit is 4/6. I exchanged the kit's front 1.5" coils for 2" drop coils. The extra 1/2 in the rear is from drop blocks. No c notch. I cut the rear bump stops down by 1/2. No issues in the rear so far. The front shocks are crap though, very bouncy and there's been some noises on dips (tire + fender I think). I'm going to put some other front shocks on try and correct the bouncing.

Oh and...
"I've tried rubbing it 'till my arm falls off with no luck. Any ideas?" Stop... because having one arm sucks... I can tell you from experience. LOL

Nice ride! Can you tell me exact tire size? I assume rims are 15x8s all around. Thanks
