1969 C-10, 350 engine bracket question??
Can anyone tell me if you know what are the correct alternator and power steering brackets for a 69, C10, 350? I've looked at three trucks and they all had something different. I'm looking for the correct/original types. If you have pics that would be great.
Thanks |

I was at the local 'yard this afternoon. A '70 Chevy C10 still had the alt brackets on it but no alternator. Most of the engine was still there. No power brakes on it though.

rage'nrat638,
Thanks for the pic.........nice job on the engine by the way. The brackets you have are the ones a "yard guy" told me were the original for a 69......guess he was correct. I really appreciate your pic that solves my problems and questions. |

Those were used on 69 cars, but they chainged in 70 on cars except corvette, and truck.
So your yard guy was kinda right...just not all the way. |

I assume all alts for a 69 will fit in between the bracket piece. thanks again |
