Serpentine Swap new A/C wiring help.

I swapped my 83 GMC belt to a 1992 4.3 v6 serpentine system. My truck came with a/c from the factory but the previous owner removed all the components. I have reinstalled all the components from the 92' Chevy but i have no idea where the wires from the compressor need to go. One wire is green and one is brown.Name: 2014-04-27_10-51-11_275.jpg

Re: Serpentine Swap new A/C wiring help.

Welcome to the site. A/C wiring is in series. Switch (cab) -> low pressure switch -> hi pressure switch -> compressor -> to good ground. My 83 has a green wire from the harness into the hi pressure switch. Find the wire that gets 12 volts when the A/C switch is on. The wiring needs to be in series. If refrigerant pressure is low or high, power is cut to save the compressor.
