engine casting #'s
Hello from reno.
Question; is there another way besides the block casting # to tell what year a small block chevy is? I have the casting # but there is too much slag across the # . |

Have to look at the casting clock and there is a date code like B237 wich woudl be like febuarary 23 1977 or 67 kinda gotta have an idea what generation it came out of .. mortech has more info on casting clock and date code
