'87 GMC Jimmy
Newbie here. I have an 87 GMC Jimmy with a 350 block that was given to me by my Mother-in-law. It belonged to my late Father-in-law and then was given to my late Brother-in-law. Do you think my mother0in0law is trying to keep a trend? No, but all kidding aside, this truck needs a lot of TLC... its been parked since their passing 4 years ago. If anyone has any tips on a full restooo... please let me know. This will be my first project build.

I shall call this truck BEVO. Hook'em Longhorns! By the way this is just day one of me actually taking over the truck.

Re: '87 GMC Jimmy
Looks great! Does it run? There are probably a ton a maintenance projects you could take on to get a feel for it. A good first project, if it is mechanically sound is change out the auto hubs to some locking,(Warn, Superwinch). If it has not already been done.

Re: '87 GMC Jimmy
It has been parked since 07. I got it running this morning. And now I'm just going to gut it out and see what awaits me.

Re: '87 GMC Jimmy
It had a break leak and fixed that already. It also has a fuel tank leak.
