Re: Looking for a prestige cab n doors
I too have been looking high and low for a decent cab. I think it's high time a whole bunch of us approach DYNACORN about a "new" cab.
http://www.dynacornclassicbodies.com/classic2.html They already make one for the '55-'57 GM trucks. Surely there is enough demand, even at 9K ??? |

Re: Looking for a prestige cab n doors
I hadn't seen those before... kind of shocking they don't build one already... since 67-72 is one of the most popular bodies and the cabs mostly all have issues with rust in the same various spots... not sure about 9k though...

Re: Looking for a prestige cab n doors
when i need one i aways look for a complete truck like a nice long bed or like the last one i got was off a 1 ton truck. if you do find a nice cab it will be from somebody who bought a nice truck to part out and you will be paying for the cab what they bought the complete truck for... good luck

Re: Looking for a prestige cab n doors
They can be found. You need to be patient, although some need parts right away. I looked for about a month and found a perfect 72 rust free Arizona cab that needed nothing. I cost less than if I repaired my old cab. Only have a few pics before we blasted it..

I've got a complete 72 c-20 with a noise in eng. Original paint straight rust free. I'm thinking about parting it out if I can't get 2k for it the way it is. Pm me your e-mail addy if you're interestd and I'llsend you some pics and more info. I have a few other cabs but this one is the best. Thanks Frank
