Slow to decelerate
Have a 1996 GMC Sierra with a 5.7 with 275,000 mi. on it.
When traveling on flat and level road truck is very slow to decelerate when getting off the throttle. It will hold RPM and speed usually till needing to brake. Rarely the rpm will surge while stopped at a traffic light. Have tried to find similar condition within the forum without luck. Where should I start looking ? It's been a great truck for me and want to keep it that way. Any assistance is appreciated.
