Three. Not the best pic but you get the idea.

Re: 1972 blazer rear seat seat belts
I believe either or.....wasnt 3rd set an option? Seems that some of my rear seats only had two sets.

Re: 1972 blazer rear seat seat belts
I never thought of it that way. If I recall correctly, I read somewhere that basically everything after the drivers seat was an option on these. But I could be wrong.

Re: 1972 blazer rear seat seat belts
I've never seen the third set of rear seat belts listed as an option, but it doesn't mean that isn't the case. Of the three Blazers I've owned, all three had 3 seatbelts in the rear (one non-ac CST, one low option and one non-cst AC).

Re: 1972 blazer rear seat seat belts
I don't mean to hi jack your post but my 72 Blazer has three sets of seat belts on the rear bench seat. What I am wondering is that I only have two rear supports on the seat. There isn't any mounting holes in the bottom of the original seat cover. I am guessing that the center seat belts bolt directly to the floor?

Re: 1972 blazer rear seat seat belts
On my blazer there are four rear stands. The seats belts bolt to the two middle stands. I can take a pic when I get home.
Upon closer inspection of your pic, your two stands are actually the middle ones and you need to get two more for the outside. They won't have nuts welded on them.

Re: 1972 blazer rear seat seat belts
Here's a pic of mine. This is how it was delivered. As far as I can tell the first time the seat was removed was for the carpet install. They must've done the rear seats lets a few different ways. Kinda weird though.

Re: 1972 blazer rear seat seat belts
Here is a close up of mine. Outer belts bolt to the nuts welded to the supports, inner belts bolt directly to the floor. you can see that the center has two belts (one laying on the floor and one feeding through the seat.)

Re: 1972 blazer rear seat seat belts
Interesting. My outer belts bolt directly to the seat itself, through the side.
