Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks v2.0
I was wondering. I've seen and riden in RideTech's truck and was pretty sure it was green. Now I know I'm not lol

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks v2.0
Here is my contribution...My "best" patina isn't 67-72...she's a little older...1950 to be exact.
I'll also throw in the shop full of patina beyond the daughter's Ghia...they are all works in progress. I'm headed out to Washington State to pick up my latest patina truck next Friday. Hopefully won't need any help on the ride home to Houston...but I'm sure if I do, this board will jump in and help. You've seen her...she is a 1967 Arizona short bed with a bunch of holes drilled in her bedsides... Wonder how soon someone will chime in with "who she is"...

Here's mine, 68 with worn repaint. Plans are to repaint roof only and below side trim and grille off white. Going to try and save the rest of the patina.

I'll be honest, I think about cutting it down everyday but it probably won't happen.

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks v2.0
Shop owner bought it in the LA basin, trailored it here to Prescott and Tim did extensive work including disc brakes, front suspension stuff, Dakota digital dash and a 2005 Vortec 5.3 4L60E in it, Fun Truck.

An update on Ol' Crusty. Nice white steel wheels, new rubber, clean bumper, and a non-rusty-dented drivers side door.

It's been stored for a couple of years now but I'm finally going to attack it this summer--just mechanicals to start--and get some correct rims and 31" tires on it......

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks v2.0
My new ´67 truck. I just last friday got it from Texas all the way to Finland in northern Europe. It's patinaed well over the border to rusty. It's barely legible, but it says "hurricane" on the doors. I plan to drive is as it looks for a summer or two, with only painted gloss black wheels with new tires and chrome wheel nuts

Where in Finland are you located? I get over to Gallivare in Sweden pretty often.

I'm on the west coast of Finland; close to the city of Vasa. I'd guess Gallivare could be eight hours or so from here. You're welcome to visit, I' ll put the kettle on
