Head lights

Didn't want to put this on someone elses thread so I started this one about my head lights. I installed the relay's myself and did the wiring also. These lights give off more than enough light at night to see by. I bought these at the Myrtle Beach car show several years ago. I have no idea who are where they came from. The bulbs are 60/55 watts H-4 that I run. The other blue tint where in my daughters car that I took out and put back in the regular bulbs. You couldn't see a thing with them installed.The wiring of the relays is pretty straight forward. Take the connector loose from the head lights and with a test light see which one is low beam/high beam. Make sure you cut the wire far enough back so you can get a connector on it. The wire going back into the cab is the trigger wire to relay #86. Then 12 volts to relay #30, ground #85 and the wire off of the headlight connector goes to relay #87 your done.

Is there a relay kit you recommend or are they pretty much the same? I bought some nice Sylvania sealed beams several years ago which helped but never added the relay... I know it needs one as I've fried 2 high beam floor switches.

I mounted mine under my cold air in the front right beside the radiator. I use the ones O-Rielly sells. Bosch 30amp's. They have been installed for 5 years at least and not one problem. Notice one is higher than the other. That is the high beam relay. Just so I know which one is which 20 years down the road if there is a problem.
